Packing day

My step son Mathew is packing for a two month trip to America. He's going to be a leader at one of the summer camps there. Major panic about what to take, where the passport is, what time differences there are, whether or not to take a smart shirt, hair gel etc.

Actually it is all going very smoothly so far today. Departure is not until Saturday but he has to spend the day on the beach with his friends tomorrow and wants to fit in a flying visit to an exhibition in London on Friday, so today is about the only day he has free to pack. So there is plenty of time for it all to go wrong.

I wonder how jane is going to cope. Two months is a long long time for him to be away and I know she'll miss him dreadfully.
